We can't argue with free items. And I wonder if that Ninja trait will come into play?

I like the fact that it's a limited action so it can give out the poison tokens during the limited phase but pity we can use it in battle
I like it purely for the fact it says "Shosuro Toson, Ninja Master of the Scorpion Clan" on it. A free cost action to produce poison tokens during the Limited phase is decent and very good for the poison theme since it gives us some pre-planning before going to battle. The downside, it counts as a weapon (unlike Kusari-gama) so it could cause clunks when attaching and our guys already have weapons.
There's nothing wrong with this item. This may be the final piece that convinces me to play ninja.

Don't forget the fact that to use it costs the destruction of the item. Its basically two free poison tokens. Don't get upset if it counts as a weapon, that just means that it will most often be used to distribute its tokens, then get ditched for something better.
