If I go to GenCon, one big change I will probably make to my deck is that I will drop Shosuro Tsuyoshi (only used him once) and add in Yogo Hiroji.\r\n\r\nWhy? Well, I'm playing YoTangen so I don't lose anything by switching Tsuyoshi for Hiroji. And I gain that awesome Open ability to destroy a spell, which is about the only thing I can think of that will reliably let me beat those damn oni summoning decks.\r\n\r\nAt Origins, I only played 6 of the 7 rounds. 3 against Crane, and 3 against Oni summoning. I lost once to Crane and twice to the oni summoners, which was apparently a very well-represented decktype (featuring the Phoenix and Shadowlands, but also the Crane). Nothing sucks worse than looking at that Ambush or Kolat Assassin you just drew, but having to sit there for 10 minutes while your opponent summons 3x Yojireru no Oni and sets up an infinite loop of oni summoning/written in blooding madness, or just copies Naka Tokei's ability to bow all your peeps and come a'stomping.\r\n\r\nJust thought I'd throw that out to you. Hiroji's in my opinion the best bet at reliably dealing with those damn Oni summoner decks, and 3/4 for 7 isn't that bad. Plus he's Kuroiban, so those of you out there who like the story and already run Rieko can add in yet another kuroiban. Yay.\r\n\r\nOptionally, I may bring my dishonor deck instead. I didn't play it, figuring it's rather slow and unreliable against Crane and Lion. But considering the field I saw at Origins...
