Here's a little something something I've been thinking about doing with the Towers now that we've seen the Sensei. As much as I hate to abandon my favorite formation (Kiss of the Scorpion), Shosuro Saemon actually makes Direct Assault viable for us. Also the deck contains tons of card draw so you should never be short one actions in your hand to perform. It's pretty solid, I think. Yup. I does look solid. Just curious, but why did you have ditch Kiss? Also, Rick Coffers might help the deck in the long run, comboing nicely Reiko.

\r\n\r\nagreed. i was also already planning the prettiness of rich coffers along with Rieko.\r\n\r\nnow this is a total ignorant question probably, but could somebody please explain to me how do you use Black Heart in a non-SL deck?\r\ni understand how you run it in KB, but i have seen some crab list run this and now Yogo.\r\n\r\ni understand that it is a great wind, but how do you lobby?\r\nwait... except if the only reason you use this is to outforce the opponent and thus stop them from using the Favor?\r\n\r\nis that it? people play Black Heart not for the force reduction, but to counter stuff like Gozoku????\r\n\r\n...and breath.

Looks good. I would take out first dojo, with Paneki it is cool, but with no other Kami personalities it just doesn't jive to me.\r\n\r\nMaybe put in Scorpion Distractor(yes its political, but it is the only one), for that KB matchup. Or even for a barley farm.\r\n\r\n

I say keep First Dojo in. Bow Paneki to Straighten three peeps then pay two gold from Reiko to straighten paneki so in esence pay two gold to straighten four peeps.

Hm. Wouldn't it be neat if each Wind had a different method for determining 'honor'?\r\n\r\nWow. I might have to comment on that somewhere else.\r\n\r\n

Opps! I ment to at least include Shosuro in the list! It was list 3am when I posted this deck, though. I fixed it now. I'll address a few questions on my choices now.\r\n\r\nI know Rich Coffers seems like a slick idea, but the fact is it unbow on the next turn, right? But you're personality should all be bowed out because you attacked. You can't assigned bowed Personalities to battle so they can't be straightened by Reiko's Battle ability. Nice idea, but it's not practical. I rather keep to a Gold scheme that flows.\r\n\r\nBlack Heart is there for Favor denial. It's better to deny the favor to your opponent then to let them get it at all. It's meta against Gozoku Sensei, Left Hand, Voice, and whatever other use you're opponent might possess for the favor.

Hey Mikey-G with your KB water-blitz deck, I think Black Heart is a much better choice than Voice just from the standpoint that you just stated.\r\n\r\nI like the Yogo deck continuous use of Direct Assault is good I hear.\r\n\r\nHowever I would like to inquire where you put Naname he can bust a province pretty quickly.\r\n\r\nAlso how do you think this will match against a blitz deck with no outer walls or defensive cards in the deck.

Except Water tricks don't work without Voice. So that gets shot in the foot real quick.

Don't need him. Don't get me wrong, 5 Force for 7 Gold is good for Scorpion, but he's got two strikes against him with this deck... expensive and lack of the Ninja trait.

Defensive cards... meh, you've got all the defence you need built right into Yogo Towers. Refugees is all the blitz meta I need. Speaking of which, I must find room in the deck for them.

How helpful do you find Troll War Band? I think Political adjunct would be much more consistant at neutralizing a card, and it's cheaper.

You are one hundred percent correct, but Tangen Sensei is too good not to use and Political Adjuncts are useless with out Gozoku Sensei. Plus, I like to have a little corruption in my decks. As Daigotsu Tsume tells me, little taint never hurt nobody.

Nah, I've got zero playtest right now. With the deal I have sett up with Sangri... I mean Dokeuki, he's got first dibs on all Scorpion cards we get in our boxes so I'll be focusing on Mantis and Phoenix for a while till I get everything that I need. Feel free to do whatever you want with it.
