 Taking this thread back to origins, has anyone thought of Transend of Flesh? I think it can produce one of the fastest force pumps in the early game pumping a lousy Soshi Ukon to 5f. Top it with The Kami's B;essing and there you have a shugenja who is 9f force boxable and you still got spare gold to buy things with. 

 Force pumps that require gold cost in a swarm are not really a good idea. Granted that you'd be able to have all the gold in mid to end game, but with the gold cost of the scorpion boxables generally 4g, using gold for a force pump (instead of an HK, Recruiting or better yet buying 4 dudes in Dynasty), I feel iffy about it.

Blessing of the Kami is 3 g and Transcendance is 2. They will slow your pruduction down a bit but you will still be able to buy a holding on turn 3 plus breaking a province.

I think relying on getting two spells into play, on a boxable shugenja (non-Unique, I admit, but still) is a little too comborific.  You're looking to get Ukon in play, plus these two spells into your hand, by turn 3?  There are, frankly, more straightforward force pumps if you're trying to "blitz".  However, I think you'll find trying to blitz in SE an exercise in disappointment.  You could try swarming, instead, filling your deck with boxables, plus Venerable Masters, plus cards like Recruiting Allies, then cards that key off of having more personalities than your opponent (Flanking Action, Flanked by Nightmares if you can get some Shadowlands personalities in there, Pack Tactics) or "disposable" personalities (Surprising Resistance, others?)

 I ran into a crab swarm deck the other day and it really performed very well. Vrab got more force than we do but still i think swarming can really work.

 Swarming CAN work, yes.  It's just not as efficient as other types of military decks.  But, given the right match-up and some good card draws, a swarm deck can do quite well.
