    DVD Bleed SH with Kurumi

Yeah but.... they look good... so your bordem is our gain.

Much of the social history of the western world has been replacing what worked with what sounded good.

     How I did it?  Hrm.

I took the pic of Kurumi, made it the background layer, superimposed the DVD stronghold onto the pic, positioned it to where I thought it looked best, then began to slowly ersase all the components of the DVD layer until all that was left were the areas shown.  Then I used a filter to fade the dvd components so that the background seemed to "bleed" through it.

Now I have a template of the dvd that I can basically stick on any pic and use the filter to make it a "bleed" stronghold.  With the Yudoka one, all I did was take the dvd layer, removed the fade filter, cut out the KW text, pasted it, then applied the new layer to the yudoka image and used the fade filter.

Once I got the stronghold "template" to where all that is left are the components, I can basically copy and paste it onto any image now, and make it bleed through.

This is also why I am looking for a copy of Toson.  I was going to make a KW SH image of him with an obsidian hand.  Just can't seem to find a full print, only the card version of his art.  I figured it would be a cool way of showing I support him for the Euro champ choice, should we get it.

Also, if I had a high quality printer, and it were legal, I would make a bleed version of every card in my deck just for the hell of it.

Of course I also realise that it is improbable that I would be able to find printings of all the cards in my deck to do this with as well, heh.

    I <3 Photoshop.

Personally, I see no problem in you doing that as long as you have the original card handy for proof that you have it.  I know in the MtG community, that many players used proxies for their expensive Black Lotus, Time Walks, and Moxen.  Again, it was legal as long as you had the original card readily available.

Also, Microsoft Visio is also an awesome program for doing that kind of stuff.

Sidenote: use Ebay.com and Amizon.com search engines to find the cards you need.  I'm pretty sure you can find singles of the majority of the cards you need.  for example: ebay.com > Search Denounced on Stage > Click on one of the many links > Click on the Enlarge picture option > Right-Click on the enlarged picture version and select "Save picture as..." > Select a file to save picture in & give it a name you'll know what the card is > Open Visio > Create New > Insert Picture (select the one you just saved) > AND Viola! you can size it, move it, modify it, etc.  I created a template of just 8 blank spots on the page with guidance lines to center each one.  W: 2.45 in, H: 3.45 in, Degree: 90.  beautiful.

Proxies until I can get the real thing. >,>

I would never use it in a tournament UNLESS I had the real card.  But, if yer looking for pictures.. that's a great spot to start.

    <bows deeply>  I applogize for rambling on.  <vanishes into the night>
